Drupal 6.5 อัพเดทครั้งที่ 5 ของรุ่น 6 ออกมาเพื่อแก้ไขความผิดพลาดรวมแล้วประมาณ 50 รายการ จัดอยู่ในขั้นร้ายแรงถึง 4 รายการ แนะนำว่าควรอัพเกรดอย่างด่วน โดยคราวนี้เป็นเพียงการแก้ไขระบบเพื่อความปลอดภัย ความสามารถใหม่ต้องรอ Drupal 7.0
